An interesting story that deserves some appreciation from someone who is not me lmao, as a person who gets attached to characters easily; I don’t appreciate all of the complicated dynamics between each character BUT that means someone definitely will?? To each their own.
It just feels like an experiment of what if this guy likes this guy who likes this other guy who also is an amnesiac who begins to like another guy and so on like wtf. Thank god theres Rim and that blond guy.
Memory loss always twists things and it doesn’t help that this story is a love(? Is this the correct word?) polygon and I hate that fuckass complicated shit.
Hopefully someone can enjoy this bc this only made me frustrated, which only pained me even more because of the wonderful art

They're pretty obvious and open about who likes who. It just feels like there's a lot of confusion 'cause of the sheer number of characters and how off the rails this plot is.
Garon: doesn't feel romantic love and only wants to continue on his genes as a strong fighter.
Kimoto: is in love with Tehir but is currently trying to let those feelings wither due to Tehir's now twisted personality.
Jin: is in love with Charin and probably only has been in love with him. We don't know anything personal pre-amnesia but from what we've seen he couldn't form bonds with any of the others from SD.
Charin: is in love with Jin, he just suffered from extreme inferiority complex w/Jin so he tried his best to deny those feelings until he knew he was pregnant and going to die.
Tehir: probably doesn't love anyone. He's always seen himself as a God of sorts so his "love" was more that of a benevolent being towards their worshipers.
Hyahena: is in love with Charin but in extreme denial about it. He also suffers from a God-complex level of superiority and insists that he's hetero.
Rim: probably in love with Aa-el seeing as the two of them are always glued together AND he doesn't want Aa-el to sleep with anyone randomly after they had sex.
Aa-el: probably one of the harder ones to tell 'cause he's very immature and doesn't understand the concept of romantic partners. He's seen mostly with Rim so there's probably affectionate feelings there between them.
The story is definitely unhinged and after reading ur comment, I COMPLETELY agreed with you lol. Cleared up a lot for me. I’m still not a fan but it definitely deserves its kudos. I admittedly glossed over a lot bc I got an ick with all the drug usage, rape, and obscenities (but what did I expect lmao) so THANK YOU

The art and setting reminds me of old Shimotsuki Kairi yaoi tho so it feels like coming home after being away for 20 years. Tbh I didn't expect to like it, but one of my fave artists talks about it constantly and I trust their tastes lol
