People are allowed to complain when they do not like something. Look at you, right now, complaining about something you do not like. If you want them to shut up, you'll have to stop complaining about them first.

LGBT+ people complain because there is no manga to read that's geared to them. What you're saying is "let straight women have everything and LGBT+ people just live with nothing, and don't even express how you feel." BL is the closest LGBT+ people have to stories ABOUT THEM, so of course they're going to come here, and of course they're going to be disappointed. Have compassion, rather than throwing a tantrum.

It's funny when people say that because yaoi is just porn. People will fetishsize anything. Gay people can complain about it if they want, but it's not like straight people aren't fetishsized either. In my opinion hentai is much worse. But you don't really see people complaining about hentai do you? Unless it's a joke nowadays.

Unfortunately that's how it is in Asian culture. At least it isn't as bad as China, where any homosexual act/image is censored to the public. I'm pretty sure authors mean no harm to the lgbt community at all. You have to understand that their culture is different and that bl is fictional porn. Just like any normal hetero romance manga is not the same as real life, it is fantasized. If you look at any actual real pornagraphy it really is the same anywhere.

I enjoy debating and sharing information so here. It's all right for people to complain and it's all right for people to complain about those who do. Basically it just seems redundant to go to some manga website to complain about it. If you come to a manga website with a heavy audience of bl readers and criticize it, obviously they will be tired of seeing these sort of comments. Yaoi is pornagraphy just like hentai and yuri. Everyone and anything is fetishsized and it won't change I guarantee you.

After all we're only here to read yaoi as they are another source of entertainment and a way to escape reality for most people. Why then bring out topics that we see every day in our lives in social media? *cough*Twitter*cough*.

I gotta say that the only thing that I can't stand is the pointless rape and blackmailing in a lot of yaoi mangas.

1. If it doesn't serve a purpose for the plot.... THEN WHY?
2. If you want to develop the character's romantic relationship through rape why not do it in the slow and normal way instead?
3. It's generic and overused at this point.
