Brooooo I never once im my life felt this much rage while reading a story.
The emperor just disrespects her like it’s his hobby. He be acting like he loves her but it’s clear that he just wants to have her like a medal.
Like ohhh someone doesn’t like me so I will do my best to make her like me and be done with her.
I just hate that fucker.
But FL is also so incredibly stupid.
Why doesn’t she like talk to the black haired girl and like plan together?
And also the fact that he just kissed the FL against her will and it’s portrayed like it’s supposed to be hot?!?!??!!
And how he just talks over her like, ugh
She just feels like a complete pushover but the writer wants to make her look like a strong person.
And also the whole ‘I don’t want to do this but then the servants have to suffer’ situation is sooo stupid and easily resolvable.
For example:
As the emperor asked the FL to come to his office after kissing her AGAINST her will just the night before could she just have told the servant that she should tell him that she doesn’t want to see him and invite the servant to have tea with her every time he sends for her.

Sorry for rambling but I’m just so made how the whole story and all characters and even the writer disrespects her like this.
The trope CAN be done right but this did NOT cook.
