Is this worth reading? I love this kind of trope but some of the comments here say the romance is getting nowhere after 100 chapters.
Depends on what you like, but yes. We don't even know who is actually the ml it was 6 people at first and it's narrowed down to 4 so far (I think)
It really depends on what kinda story you like. I myself am loving the idol slice of life story that's happening right now and I don't really care for the romance subplot. But many people in the comments are frustrated with the lack of progression with the romance and find the slice of life boring

THEY GET A HAPPY END!!! The "novel" isnt actually a novel but a predetermined fate for Mygungha, written by the sunbae. The sunbae, you can say, is some kind of god that can control people's fates even after death. Myungha in his previous life actually took his life because he didn't find any meaning in it, especially when his mother didn't even want to see him. The sunbae wanted to show him a world where he didn't commit suicide and followed his true destiny where he fell in love with OG FL. So yea, Myungha is the OG ML. But it turned into a BL story where Myungha and Yeowoon(second ML) fall in love with each other, going against the god's(sunbae) will.
The reason why the system wants Yeowoon to be popular is because in a flashback, Myungha saw Yeowoon's story(remember how myungha knows everything about yeowoon?) and empathized with him. Myungha realized Yeowon cherised and valued the things he had given up on or even considered meaningless in life. So myungha told sunbae he would think it's better if Yeowoon found happiness instead of him. As a result, the system is trying to switch the protagonist from myungha to yeowoon. But sunbae wants the myungha to choose himself over yeowoon, like choosing his grandma over him. But Myungha just keeps making choices that continues to reduce his existence in the world, like how we see him become invisible to other people except yeowoon.
After that, time and perception becomes fucked up and then two worlds split between Myungha and Yeowoon. In Myungha's world Yeowoon doesnt exist and vice versa. That is because they are straying away from their true destinies written by sunbae and going the BL route lol. Eventually after a lot of confusion and angst, Yeowoon does figure out the system and writes down with his pen that he acknolowdges Myungha's existence. This leads Myungha's existence to finally become established as an important supporting character. At the end, they meet in the beach where both of their worlds meet and sunbae leaves the world, allowing it to have free will. （/TДT)/ sorry if this was confusing, ask me questions if you want!
