I mean this may be obvious but the exstra 13.2 takes place between volume 1 and 2 I think there's been a lot of characters development it's slow burn but idk.

I think some times you can tell when an author has a put a lot into there characters. For an example in this last chapter when sam says "Dont abandon me" its like my whole opinion changed. Because instead of sam waiting for Henry. It shows that Henry had a part to play in them not getting together. Also Henry is starting to Seth not beacuse he's likes old Sam but because he's Seth. The real question is does henry like Sam as he is now or is he still stuck in the pass. I think henry has to choose the person that allows him to move on pass the Sam of his youth and find Love now. wether thats Sam or Seth he needs to choose the person thats best for him to move on. But I do love Sam kinda rooting for him.
