I am extremely disappointed with how this Manhua ended. I think it's not hard to see that this ending brings to mind a book with the last few pages torn out, it was sudden and without any closure. It saddens me because I really enjoyed it and hoped for a better ending than what I found. We have no idea how's the band; we didn't get to know the man who was part of the whole scandal with Junran and the details of this scandal; Jiang Cheng, who as Junran's rival seemed to have an important role in this story, suddenly just disappeared and not much has been said about him, we barely know his personality, his backstory has not been revealed or anything, and Xiao himself has never learned Jiang Cheng's feelings for him. But what I think is the biggest downside is that this whole love story between Xiao and Junran has been rushed so much. This manhua is a romance, so when you start reading such a work, what you pay most attention to is precisely this love aspect, and here, unfortunately, something so important has met such an uninteresting ending. I am really disappointed especially since it had so much potential to be a great story.

It was a very enjoyable manhwa but I think it's a pity that the whole thing about crossdressing was abandoned at some point. I think it was quite important part of the story as it's the thing that led many events to happen so I find it kind of weird that it was so quick to disappear.

I think it was a nice manhwa and I really enjoyed reading it, although I must admit that I find the ending disappointing. The problem that I notice in this work is the character of Karam, which in my opinion was written in a way that prevents readers from making any connection with him, and his interactions with the main character seem to be very limited, I don't feel any chemistry between them. This is a diametrical difference compared to Junseo, who is a complex character, readers are able to create a bond with him and identify with him. While Karam is not a disliked character, the readers' comments speak for themselves and it isn't hard to notice that the feelings towards Junseo are much more positive. Unlike Karam, we had a chance to actually get to know Junseo. Now, when I think about it, I realize that in fact the author didn't tell us much about Karam. As for Karam's relationship with Jaewon, as I mentioned before, I don't see any chemistry between them. They have nothing in common that would allow them to relate to each other, they have no impact on each other. Once again, Junseo is the one who can do all of that. He and Jaewon struggle with similar problems, support each other, and their interactions are not only very interesting, but I think they are much more frequent than those between Jaewon and Karam. As many people have said, this manhwa feels like Junseo is going to be the endgame, and the fact that it turned out to be Karam is simply baffling, not something we would expect. I noticed that there are people who treat it as a plus, they are happy that there is some novelty among the manhwa and there has been no sudden change in Jaewon's feelings, however, I think that such changes should be assessed not only in terms of the fact that it's something new, and also to actually analyze it, look a little deeper than just on the outside. I hope those who choose to read my words understand what I mean by this.

In addition, I would also like to share another of my opinions, and of course I respect people who will disagree with it and see it from a completely different perspective. I would like to say a few words about this realism, which is often treated as a plus in manhwa and other productions. I think this may be a good thing in some situations, but I also notice that when we consume different kinds of stories, we expect it to entertain us, which, unfortunately, realism cannot always provide us. Love in real life isn't at all what books or movies describe, and in most cases there's nothing special about it. Who would like to read about something that doesn't attract our attention? You can try to create a work in which the feelings will be born from the most ordinary situation, without any fireworks or whatever but without any interesting plot twists or interactions between the characters you won't be able to keep the readers' interest. I think this is clearly seen in Unripened Expression as Karam's relationship with Jaewon is underwhelming for most people compared to Jaewon's relationship with Junseo. People prefer what is more interesting and offers something more than what you might experience in real life. I wanted to say it because I've noticed that some people think it was a good idea to keep the story somewhat realistic and write such ending but as you already now I don't think that's necessarily truth.

Fumi and Sakurako's situation is by no means strange. I don't understand why many readers regard their relationship as something scandalous when it is literally just a young boy with a crush. Such a phenomenon is nothing new, in the real world children often fall in love with older people who have had a significant impact on their lives. Sakurako never agreed to accept Fumi's feelings, only gently rejected him. She is not looking at him the wrong way. Stop treating natural phenomena as something bad.

But fumi is still a middle schooler while sakurako is in her 30's . She could get arrested lol
Ofcourse the story did tell to wait till fumi grew up so it isnt a problem
But sakurako doesnt want to get married or anything though .. and even if fumi grew up.. sakurako will be older too .. they have like a 20years age gap

The character here just look younger even though they are in 30s

1st love almost always never come true anyway

Why would she get arrested? I doubt a young boy falling for an older woman is enough of a reason to get her arrested. Sakurako didn't enter any inappropriate relationship with Fumi and she didn't promise him anything either so I don't really see what's the problem.

You have to understand that everyone has the right to express their opinion on a given job, even if the opinion turns out to be negative. I find it weird that some of you don't realize such an obvious fact.

I've noticed a lot of complaints about the last chapters in the comments, and I conclude that all those who wrote those complaints were hoping for a nice story with a romantic theme as its central point, and I have trouble understanding why these people had such expectations at all. It is true that Yona and Hook's relationship is an important part of the story, however, I personally believe that at the moment there are far more important issues that need to be focused on and finalized before it is possible to return to this nicer part of the story. We must not forget that what drives all the events is the incident between Soo won and Yona at the very beginning, and this is nothing that could be described as "happy and fun" and hence I do not understand the surprise of the last chapters. Does everyone count on the fact that our main heroes, blessed with the power of friendship and love, will go to the castle right away, once they will complete the entire team and defeat Soo won like that? And right after that, we will focus entirely on the love theme? First, we have to let the author settle the main plot.

In addition, I have the impression that many people have big problems with reading comprehension and are not able to grasp many factors, which later results in, for example, a complete lack of understanding towards Yona or Soo won. I think it was clearly shown to us from the very beginning how much Yona cares about protecting those who are close to her, so I don't think it's strange that she would sooner decide to carry any weight alone instead of exposing any of the dragons or Yoon or Hak, even though they are strong enough to deal with anything that might threaten them. I feel satisfaction seeing Yona's metamorphosis throughout this story.

However, when it comes to Soo won, although many people do not hide their hatred towards him, I start to like him more and more, and I think that he is becoming my favorite character. I feel sorry for Yona and that she was forced to go through a lot of hardship as a result of the crime committed by So won, but I think it would be a lie to say that Yona's father was not without blame and that it took a bad toll on the kingdom. Unlike King Il, who seemed to be blind to all the evil that covers his kingdom, and the lack of any action on his part, Soo won is currently trying to change that, working for his people tirelessly even as he is gradually devoured by disease.

Anyway, hopefully readers will focus more on the main plot instead of constantly complaining just because of the lack of love plot content, which is not even the most important part of the story so far.

Preach! I said it before in a comment and imma repeat myself but what we are witnessing is basically the climax of the story, the main plot is actually moving faster since the final arc debuted more than in the past 160 chapters before, so many things meaningful happened story wise... when u think about it their adventures all around the country everyone seems to miss so much were refreshing and fun I agree, but it started to stretch out too much in my opinion.

The main purpose of their journeys was to help Yona grow up realize how naive and sheltered she was make allies, expand her world. And all this knowledges she gained made her who she is rn, just for this moment when she come back to the Castle she flew away at the start of the story. She is now a strong women who need NO men to stand on her two feet, and really she is basically snatching the throne from Soo Won without showing effort. Even the advisor is now aware of her potential as a great leader and actually questioning where his loyalty should lie. (after all Soo Won might die soon)

So how come some of the readers are not aware of the strength she hold now... really just like you i don’t understand the complaints here and there mostly About Yona being weak and regressing to her old self?!

Anyway i do think the majority of the readers understand and enjoy the actual arc just, they are not so vocal about it and just stay silent and enjoy reading the story. ;)

    seokjinie January 1, 2021 6:43 am

this !!! it's been so annoying seeing all these comments for the past months complaining about essentially there not being any major action/romance, when this arc is literally showing how mature yona's become mentally while the castle and soo-won becomes unstable.....they're not just sitting around being weak, their goal isn't to destroy kouka's nobility so they're actually being careful ?? people are being so daft

szezi November 27, 2020 7:04 pm

We only got a glimpse of Seungho's past which was enough to show us the terrible experiences he must've went through to become the person he is currently and there is obviously still a lot of facts to uncover ahead of us. It's simply not realistic for this character to go through a major character development at the stage both he and Nakyum are at the moment. I'm satisfied with how his character is changing over time and I only hope that it will continue without unnecessary issues and by that I mean that I wouldn't like him go back to the very beginning.

szezi November 15, 2020 3:32 pm

I think it could've been better if there was more to uke's personality. I feel like we got too little informations about him and we barely saw him have any conversation with the seme, and because of it I find it difficult to sense any chemistry between them. If it was a bit longer and we could see some other sides of uke I would be more satisfied with this story. Other than that I think it was quite pleasant.

I feel the same way. From what was shown, they're in live with each other just bcs the sex is great lmao don't get me wrong tho, the smut really was hot af
