Food you imagined would taste good but turned out a total bummer?

Ngl Thai fish cakes. They didn’t taste bad per se but the texture was so so weird it just completely threw me off. They look and smell so good. The taste is alright but they’re so rubbery? Like that’s really the only good description I can think of
