If the boss was someone else unrelated he would have no problem disposing of Mikhail given the opportunity. Even though Yuri is a psycho, it still won't be that easy for him to kill his nephew.
On the other hand it's worse for Fei, because Yuri has the knowledge of Mikhail's feelings for Fei. If the boss was someone else unrelated, he wouldn't have known that. So now the rebels can use this info to get to Mikhail.

By selling Mikhail out, he at least solves out three problems: first he clarifies his and Asami's connection between this matter; second Tao, Asami and Akhito's security is guaranteed and he himself has the chance to negotiate and be let go; third he always doubt that whether Mikhail is trustworthy, but now Mikhail is exposed and he has no way to get away from all this mess.
Actually when he bed with Mikhail it's obvious that he is determined to do anything to ensure the safety of AA and HK. Mikhail's life is not in his primary concern -- He does not have any feeling towards him and just views him as a business partner( sometimes rival) who can be replaced, and a playboy woos around. There's a business agreement reached between them so it doesn't mean betrayal. Plus considered Fei's ignorance of love affairs I believe that he still doesn't know Mik has a crush on him, so he won't feel guilty when doing so.
