But not the little girl (original one), I love her.
Ok, I love the other three main characters (4 if we count the girl (body) to be both herself and Sh-guy), but the girl is important now.
And fuck my impure fujoshi brain.
Btw, at first, I really thought Sh-guy was more of a father/older brother figure to the main guy, but oh well. xD

Fuckk, this shouldn't be here, especially not in categories like "smut/ecchi"; somebody might get the impression that it's your "usual hentai bs" and start reading it (bruh, it's not THAT bad, but it's not even close to the usual shit with the MC just having his harem and fucking 24/7).
I want to cry because not only are they both beautiful, but I really liked the story and the progress they made + and how it was made - the transition from Rin's feelings not being reciprocated to them becoming lovers.
It just felt so natural. TvT

Welcome to my life, I decided to re-read this one.
Warning: there's surely going to be lots of tears, especially as this was my very first manga, a BL at that.
I'm completely lost and have no idea how's the whole story going to unfold. Nonetheless, I love it.
This:
I see a character, I like them, I love them - they die.
I see a character, I like them - they die.
I see a character - they die.
I see - they die.
I - they die.

I felt that. But it really feels like a waste of unique and beautifully designed characters. Reze was a lovely character to watch but honestly her appearance merely lasted a handful of chapters which is very underwhelming. I love denji, power and aki but their dynamic just seems to be cluttered and blocked by characters that quickly die off instead of showing more chemistry between one another and others to create better relationships and reveal more insightful personalities.
The one that actually hurt me the most was Himeno because I have a feeling she died [1] too soon, [2] in such a pitiful way considering how much she fought until the very end (she literally gave her everything) and that Makima went without even a scratch.
But then I continued reading and realized that it wasn't only me losing characters that I like but the whole fandom having lost something as well since we're having less and less characters by every new chapter..
I have a feeling that we'll have only Makina and Denji in the end.
Regarding the friendship and the whole dynamic of the trio, I absolutely agree - we are overwhelmed by so many deaths that it's difficult to keep up with the development of their relationship and sometimes I'm not even sure how close they are, what'd they be willing to do for each other etc.
Overall, I still love the manga and, for example, AoT has a crazy amount of deaths as well, but it is considered to be a good manga (/anime), so sometimes it just works for the specific work and it becomes a "characteristic" of the author/the work itself, but I'd still prefer having my favorites be alive for at least a couple of chapters. xD
I think I personally don't enjoy chainsaw man because it feels like I can't care for the characters anymore. Like with main characters I love rooting them on because they have a passion or reason for fighting that I can't help but cheer on. The whole ordeal about woman and tits with Denji was funny but now it just seems like a dead joke to me. There's nothing to Power or Denji that I can support anymore besides their humorous idiocy. The plot also throws me off with it's weird direction and story that it's trying to tell. I'm really overwhelmed by the amount of random deaths, what these characters even do, what even are their powers (limit and extent of it) and if I even like the characters.
But it might just be me not feeling it.
Ok, ok, this is kind of good - the MC wants to stay in that world and live Tiger's life + have his gf, and Tiger wants to "take over" the MC's life, soooo, its not that bad for now.
