This started as a beautiful story that had a lot of potential and I loved their dynamic, but he fucked up massively, in a way that’s completely out of his character (especially considering their conversation on the topic of dishonesty and lying in particular), so I feel the time skip and the shift in the narrative in general are a bit underwhelming..

For everybody irritated by the cursed ch — even in the regular one the readers are left with a cliffhanger, if that makes you feel better. :’)
