the chapter starts with scott appointing both martin and jungki and he tells them he’s pregnant and that they are the only ones he’s slept with recently. martin says he must be the father since he’s alpha and jungki a beta to which he reveals he’s actually an alpha (THE SHOCK I KNOW!!!) and that he did a surgery to suppress pheromones before enlisting, that it is a normal procedure in korea and that it’s also reversible. anyway…. (what a mess).
we see a woman give hayden a card in case he’s interested in another casting, it seems he’s working on site while filming something.
then, we have brett’s secretary who found brett’s assaulters and they talk about how to deal with them. brett says it’s better to do something about them after the first audience, since it’s probable that the detective is still working behind. he also reveals that he kissed the detective to guilt trip him, since he believes it is more effective than pressuring the detective to take action.
also, we see brett’s father face for the first time and he looks like a more mature version of brett!!!! he talks with the secretary and mentions that brett’s biggest weakness is comprehending human nature. he makes an appearance at a party and seems to confront nathan’s dad.
in the last panels we see brett come in with his red car and he faces nathan’s dad, i think they are at the court now.
i feel like a lot of things got lost in translation since there’s too much going on, so it’s very likely i missed something but that’s the gist of it pretty much…

This chapter gave us a lot but I am curious to see how the pheromone suppressing surgery will come into play, the author wouldn’t mention it for no reason. I think the obvious choice is that Hayden does it for some reason (though I personally hope he doesn’t) but I can guess with this author how she’ll bring it up again. I’m also wondering more abt Brett’s father, he’s so interesting to me idk. I’m excited for that court case though please fuck over that man Brett

summary here we go! there’s nothing much i can say other than they had car sex and hayden asked brett if he could join him during his rut, to which brett said his is not as severe and hayden replied that he still wants to see him in that state (hot and bothered), that he will wait until brett is ready to invite him. hayden is getting bolder, i love that, he’s taking the initiative now, he wasn’t bluffing when he said he would pursue/court brett…. i love to see it! also, brett didn’t seem to be affected during sex, as in he didn’t recoil and there were no flashback panels, that’s good….
on another note, it seems scott is pregnant……. yikes

it’s interesting how hayden keeps emphasizing brett is special to him, like every single time, and we all know he means it because he isn’t into halfhearted words nor actions. that’s why i insist that hayden liking brett is not weird at all, because we do see how he changes his mind as the story progresses rather than the author forcing those feelings onto him. and we are also seeing brett change too.
(reading raws vs reading the english version has been quite the experience for me but i do enjoy having clearer translations)
