Up to the chapter 35, it doesn't look like a BL, just a grim-looking, clingy man who is interested in a lonely, weak-looking boy in a friend-making way that is beyond the boundaries of traditional masculinity.
From chapter 35 onwards, it's starting to look like an actual BL, yet one's already hating the male lead, and it's actually a shonen ai.
