Its definitely from that mangaka. :)
hey! I just wondering how did you guys get yourself into yaoi/shounen ai?
as for me, I started to read that stuff when I was in my second year of middle school (because of Kyou Kara Maou, to be precise). I want to know if you have your own story of reading BL for the first time~
well when I started watching anime I didn't even know there was a yaoi genre but a accident led me to yaoi anime then I progressed into manga when I finished nearly all the decent yaoi anime :D 2nd year of middle school tho? fufufu
i started reading shounen ai when i'm in the first year of high school. the first manga i read is komatta toki ni wa hoshi ni kike!(the story is really fun and interesting (=・ω・=)) from that time i started searching similar manga. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
note: when i reading komatta i never know about shounen ai or yaoi(≧∀≦)
sorry for my english (=・ω・=)
I don't remember what manga I first read but the first yaoi anime I watched was sekai ichi hatsukoi and then junjou romantica and after that I was hooked and quickly ran out of decent animes and found yaoi manga
I started in from late 6th to early 7th grade...
As I said earlier I found an episode of Sekaiichi Hatsukoi from the suggested videos section while watching a minecraft youtube video :I
and at that time I was rly bored to I just kept watchign it and when the series ended I found even more weird stuff in the suggestions list and I watched it and then I figured out that manga existed in a non-video format so I started reading manga -.- Looking at the stuff I started out with, wow I must've been a pedo ( ̄∇ ̄")
Ya I hate children now :D (in my dictionary a "child" is someone not yet in highschool -.-)
I already had my first child and had been working professionally for over a decade when I read an article in The Guardian Online Newspaper about fan culture, which discussed all the various different types of fan fiction, conventions, cosplay, doujinshi circles, etc.. Although it sounded interesting and very positive, it didn't make an impact on me until I made some changes which involved the loss of my two favourite bookstores. Nothing in the country where I then lived was comparable, so I started looking up fanfiction online as an alternative. This transition lead to me developing a whole different skill-set. I started writing my own work, learned how to use Photoshop, movie-maker and CS, and became involved with different online communities. At some point, I wanted an image to turn into an icon which represented something I had written and came across some fanart by a Russian artist. It was of a beautifully tall but imperious young man with long blond hair. Who he was and which story he came from eluded me, however, until, eventually, I discovered he was "Iason" from Ai no Kusabi. That was my first anime, and I wasn't too impressed at first, because I wasn't into BDSM, but the science fiction backstory grew on me, especially the terraforming story, and that led to
different manga and anime (Gundam Wing), which was already very old, slash fanfiction of anime characters, and, eventually, yaoi.
It started in when I was in grade 7-8 when I was watching/reading random shojou manga and anime when I came across Junjou romantica and sekai Ichi hatsukoi and my interest in yaoi started there ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
i think it started when i got interested with sukisho anime which i came across from an anime magazine. in that magazine, it didn't mention anything about shounen ai and the plot of the anime got me interested. but at that time, i was still not really into yaoi/shonen ai until i came across haru wo daiteita and okane ga nai, which got me into yaoi/shonen ai. at that time, i think i was around 13 years old.
My first yaoi is an anime , 1st I didn't know what is bl / yaoi / shounen Ai , but then one day (on my secondary year) I was watching angel beats anime(youtube) and I saw Misaki (junjou romantically) face on some of the recommended video along the line , and I went to watch it , I tot Misaki was a girl , then went I hear the voice and saw Usagi-san was kissing him I was like (⊙…⊙ ) then I went and search through the Google , this is whr I started to watch and read yaoi (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I started when I was 12, I got curious about Junjou Romantica and I watched the two seasons. I started to really get into it when I was 13 and discovered FAKE. Hands down my very fave manga.
I Started when I was 12. First, I just read SA. The first SA manga I read was Koori No Mamono No Monogatari. Once day, I went to the bookstore like normal, try to look for some interesting manga to kill the time. Then I see Koori No Mamono No Monogatari in the bookshelf. The cover is quite good so I want to try it. In the begining, it quite shock for me - a traditional asian girl. But sooner, I became...uhm obsess about SA manga. I read every SA manga in the bookstore and then try to find some in the Internet. And then a new door open to me ^^. It's "yaoi" door.
I was in my first year of high school, I was using the computer, I had just barely discovered manga, I don't remember the manga but it had two guys facing each other, innocently I clicked it expecting shoujo and the next thing I knew two guys were doing it. I was so embarrased and since the computer was in the living room I took it off so I wouldn't get in trouble (≧∀≦)

Acid Town is a good read. It may not be your taste, but i found the realistic aspect of life and hardships portrayed through the manga were really amazing. Be warned though, it's depressing as hell.
hey guys do you have any suggestion for adventure shoujo manga like Akatsuki no Yona? much better if the main girl characters are not annoying and definitely not the-damsel-in-distress. Thank you!
Akagami no shiraiyuki-hime?
Mahou Tsukai no Yome?
