After a while *Maybe* He caught something, plus he was beat up badly and on the verge of dying. so he took care of his daughter the best of ability. Probably on his dying bed, He used his last bit of magic to erase her memories, hm in The beginning of the story, she was probably around 10 or 12 Years old wondering The street. SHe couldn't remember anything nothing about her family or her father.
