I don't really want to go back and read so does someone mind explaining to me who Giran is and his relationship with the League of Villains and how/why he was captured.
Giran is the league of villains broker. He's the one who intriduced them to each other and he was with Tomura from the beginning (when it was just the two of them and that guy with the Warp quirk). He's the one who gets the villains the things they need/want. The liberation army's leader (forhead guy) kidnapped him because 1) he needed a hostage to lure the villains and 2) he wanted to get as much information about the villains as possible and Giran knows all of them.
