Hyun is a female lycan but due to the accident that happened when they were young (hwa almost dying), their uncle (the white haired guy) was supposed to erase that memory from hyun but hyun beg instead his memory was just altered therefore him thinking he is a male. Hwa and Hyun became mates way back.
^^this is true but more his happening here. Seolhyun's female wolf nature wants to kill Hwa now that she has met her objective of getting pregnant. The only way out of this mess is to reconcile his human male/lycan female personalities---that will benefit he babies.. AND get the female side to fall back in love with Hwa whom she marked herself when the two personalities were whole....so she won't want to kill hwa.
