It is selfish but that's love and the fact that when she confessed she asked haruna who he was always thinking of is such a nice move. Like gurl could not ask so he would not realize his feelings more "at that moment" and lead him on but no. So like I'm with her being selfish and thankful for being human trying a shot in love and stepping aside when she knows that she doesn't have a chance. That's love and her love was also beautiful.
