i notice a lot of people put series on their "already read" list but its always stuff thats just released and still ongoing and i dont get it? i only mark something as already read if the series is completed and im done reading it, with the exception that sometimes a series status changes back to ongoing, or i finished reading it on another site and its just not updated on here yet

You still get a notification if it updates on the already read tab. I use the reading tab on ones that I stopped midway through. Sometimes I just read one season and go back to it later or if it gets stagnant I take a long break but don’t want to forget it entirely.
Same here. I used to leave ongoing ones on I'm Reading even after reading the whole ass 100+ chapters... This was a wrong move on my part because in the end I have no idea if I have read it or not. So now I put the ones I already read complete or ongoing to Already Read and put notes and summary of last chapter read. I'd rather do this than not having any idea if I've read something or not and then fcking up wasting time re reading I still have many I've read on my I'm Reading list but I'm not in the mood to dig atm.
All in all. It's my lists so I don’t really care if others find my lists inconvenient for them since it's my personal page no offense

a couple of mine are like absolutely dense/stupid ukes. like the equivalent of blonde girls in horror movies. you can hold up a sign saying "THIS GUY WILL ASSAULT YOU" and theyll say some uwu "i can fix him" shit and never set their ground.
rape and assault *can* be used for story telling. it can be a powerful element of a tragic story. but its not used like that in 90% of bl. its just, totally avoidable rape for absolutely no reason???
as for nsfw pet peeves, the overly excessive "package" sizes is just...too much. you dont need allat. where is it going. it doesnt look hot it just looks weird. its so common now that you cant even say its for shock factor anymore cause id be more shocked to see a normal sized dick. on the genitalia note, WHY IS IT RED? IT LOOKS INFECTED?
also when a character, usually uke, is supposed to be cute and submissive but the author cant think of any way to portray this other than make them look and act like a fucking toddler
