Oh my, another all-time favorite is *Dark Heaven* and *Tale of the Yellow Dragon*. But read them at your own risk! Even though they’re my favorites, I can't bring myself to reread them because they're so heartbreaking. They’re all-time favs because these stories really left a mark on me and opened my eyes [and heart] to LGBTQIA+ themes, especially *Dark Heaven*. This story is so good but also so messed up that really depicts the life (if not all, then at least) of most of the community. *Dark Heaven* in particular shows the harsh realities and struggles faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals, making it both eye-opening and heart-wrenching. It’s the kind of story that sticks with you long after you’ve finished reading, even if it’s too painful to revisit.
