The mother is horrible but the emperor isn’t much better. Yes he is a victim of the empress but that by no means gives him the excuse to abuse his son like that. I honestly started this manhwa expecting to drop it a few chapters in because I don’t like omegaverse stories since so many shitty storylines belong to this trope but this manhwa has a well developed plot which doesn’t involve an overly submissive bottom which is soooo refreshing . Pleasant surprise.
