It truly did. In terms of hype and excitement solo leveling is still above for now, but plot and characters wise this has more substance and potential. At least to me.

And also discovering the truth and stuff. Fight scenes on solo leveling is so on point tho. Art is just *chef’s kiss* lmao

I wouldn’t say blueprint but it was really good in the beginning. But just like other manga in that genre the MC just became too overpowered but lost all characteristics at the same time. He’s just so flat now. I read the ln so i know what’s going to happen next. I hope the manhwa artist shows his emotions more in the upcoming scenarios.

Nah fam solo leveling aren't the blue print for this novel/ manhwa they only have the same author that drew the series. Both novels go for different path with solo leveling having MC with game like system to help him and orv with survival game theme apocalypse

And also i think op meant solo leveling mc is too op that there are no tension when reading thus may be less interesting than orv which have mc that is more "average" - at least that what i feel

when I say blueprint I didn't mean that solo leveling was the first original with a game screen and an OP mc, I meant solo leveling is what got people into that kind of story, many people started reading stories like that because they liked solo leveling, many people can agree that their first story with a game screen is solo leveling

and the solo leveling MC is too op NOW, he's went thru the weak to strong phase, of course reading it now is more boring and you're more interested in ORV mc because he's new and going into that development, we all know he's going to get op later on too, solo leveling mc was actually below average before all of that

going into the novels, you said they go into different paths, so why compare them? plot wise im not going to disagree that ORV is unique but so is solo leveling, I just don't understand why you had to diss solo leveling to hype up ORV :(

but ORV does have superior character development of not just MC but other characters as well.

First since this is a Webtoon small details like that aren't important. Second if he chose a busy building they would've heard the gunshot much clearer...thus it would be easier to pinpoint his location, and on top of that he would most likely look suspicious carrying a huge sniper in front of people lol.

I just practically said they don't need to add that much detail (hence its up to the author if they want to) that has nothing to do with me giving them credit or not. - It was just a simple statement. And secondly you don't need to know anything about guns it's just basic knowledge lmao.

And yes some do give a lot details and make well though out Manhwas- but to make a decent webtoon you don't have to include very small details, it's up to the author (That's what I meant) - so don't assume if I'm "not giving them credit" because that isn't what I meant.

Plus most people overlook those details anyways.

That’s why there are manhwas and mangas that are levels above others either because the character is a well thought of good, evil or complex character. Lmao, I've read a lot of good Manhwas...there you go again assuming. Yes people notice small details but I said they aren't needed for a webtoon artist to accomplish a decent based webtoon. Plus obviously the readers notice small details but this was over something that had no relevance to the story nor did it effect the story's timeline. It's insulting?? Well that's my opinion your over here worrying about something that has no effect to the storys plot and obviously the author put the MC on that abandoned building for a reason.
