everytime we would see things abt the father was either from the incident perspective (a horrible man) or from the MC's pov, in the latter he sounded like a good father, or at least one that isn't as shitty do smth like that so I was lowkey confused abt it
But to think he agreed only bc that way he could make his son's life easier
