The chapter where they talk about running away from home and living together hit too close to home. I used to hold my friend hand and whispered to her during boring classes about how when we're older we could buy a small apartment and get a job, anything to get away from our toxic parents. Looking back after graduating high school and currently in university while working a dead end job... it all seems so silly And wishful, back then I didn't even know the average price for 2 room apartment... But it felt nice... to have enough innocence to genuinely believe that you can grow wings and fly away

That was a healing experience! Like reaching the top of a mountain and breathing in the fresh air after hours of climbing, drinking in the scenery with a bleary eyes and soft smile. It's sad how hard it is to find a BL that doesn't come with the author barely disguised fetish or blatant sexualization of mlm relationship. The entire side of the story where Hoshitani's eyes follow him around, sticking his gaze to Kashiwase's skin at the thought of him being secretly a girl as if him being a girl ripped away his anatomy. It felt fetishized, It felt dirty, It felt wrong... The narration of the story was in the eyes of a kid but for the reader felt like a crime. Like an invasion of privacy, a disrespect. To me, the author failed to protect what was left of Kashiwase's chastity by using Hoshitani narration(a horny middle schooler). It only cements the fact that in the sea of eyes, none of it was innocent huh?

Am I dyslexic or this story is a mess? No offense but the phasing of this story is one of the most brutal ones I've laid my eyes on. Completely illegible, why is it suddenly an omegaverse? Distasteful

I don't think shin ramyun is a red flag, in alpha dominated world ig the only way to assert dominance and earn respect to/from a bunch of dickhead is pure brute force and blackmailing. The manhwa also drives the point of the dark side of ig 'chaebol' here, riddled with corruption and rotting from the inside out so to me that explains why he acted that way. In my most honest moment, I don't really like the delicate bottom and stone-cold Steve Austin pairing they've got going on but that's just me being an ass, the dynamics suit the omega verse theme so I hand up on this (surrender). Overall? It's good, love the fact that Yeonwoo have self-preservation skills and a sound mind, I also like that the author doesn't brush off his trauma, instead, showing the reader the long-lasting impact that it had on the way he views Shin Ramyun and others around him. I appreciate that the sensitivity of the subject was handled with care and was told properly without demeaning his autonomy and sexualizing the acts of rape.
