Even if barrier magic is considered “weak” the discrimination is too much. Unless barrier magicians have some other stigma, it just doesn’t make sense why they receive so much hate. Also why didn’t the hero, who is so highly regarded, compensate Blake at all for the 30 years he worked? And then he’s put in as a trainee lmfaoo.. You’d think a feat like that would be well known, but it was just forgotten about.. for what? If his job was so important, why does no one know about it? I understand its for the plot, but it’s just lazy writing. It’s going to get repetitive when Blake gets underestimated and proves them wrong over and over again. I’m dropping, unfortunately. It had potential to be an op mc with no harem, but this is just disappointing.
