the king is hot but it just feels weird when the FL ends up with the person that killed them. also the size difference adds to that asw just a little
In the novel romance started after a 5 year time skip. Nina needs to end up with the king because Hayoon lee who currently possesses her body is literally the same age with the king. So if she ends up with other male leads like alec it would be more weird. This is story is not similar to "Abandoned Empress" where time rewinds. The current story is in no way related to the original. The Nina now is Hayoon Lee. A 20 year old office worker. Which is why it is perfectly fine for them to end up together because the novel hayoon read does not control her current story as nina.
