Firstly, it seems like he's taking the whole "I'll keep you by my side by marrying you this life" way too far. Shuri's just holding in appearance and POSSIBLY background for Ludovika, and the thing is with the way she's been dealt with her responsibility that's way too heavy for her shoulders is shackling her down way more than just
Sponsoring her as a student/noble lady to be married into a better house trope. He's literally taking her to be married to him as a better house and knowing how much time he has left is leaving her with the responsibility of heading it without having Jeremy bear it.
I think it's not only the "take care of my children" part it's also the selfish part because
1. He's not thinking straight with his condition currently (hallucinations and not enough sleep gg j should also b sleeping lmao)
2. The more he sees Ludovika, the closer he is to death (imo my own theory because it's more likely to be you see your biggest regrets in life before you die but his death is slow so he sees her more and more)
This one I feel is giving us the snippet of how he's not "irredeemable because he wifed Shuri as an image of his old flame and was abusive to her" but could actually be the image of Vika (still don't know how she died wtf) causing him to want a "do over" for his passiveness. (Also did he marry his wife loving her OR just doing it out of duty just like the current Empress??? Nani??? And didn't Vika get married to the kEmperor and then Johannes had his own wife?)

Nergal has fragments of what Leon values: something to do with the suit horns, black as well as the earrings that aren't made of metal of their world.
Mephisto is some weird lab guy sharing his body with a tentacle monster that he loses control of during mating season and something that he cannot consume (bro legit looked related to Nergal pre haircut)
He knows the most about Leon's body and has given him a poison similar to what he gave Leon when he was powerful back then to sleep (still dk wtf is in the actual green liquid as is)
Deus kind of an asshole that is p single celled and one of the rare light haired beings in the place.
Beryl was a monster that achieved human form through Mephisto's experiments.
Leon throughout the whole season 1 to season 2:
Has a whole ass past with Cliff (his saviour from another dimension) that seemed to stem from when he got thrown into the scrap dimension when he was young (now there's absolutely no way of telling how long it took for him to grow up too)
Cliff is someone who can apparently cross dimensions (but he can probably survive or smth) like Nergal. I assume he went to travel to a different one when he was deemed "expiring" (see the long periods of time that he falls asleep) and unable to stay in the scrap dimension for long.
Somehow Leon belongs to a very "noble" tribe, from his mannerisms when thrown in and also how he knew the sword previously too.
Could be the best possibility that he does belong to the people that mate for life and Yadda yadda has a womb and all.
One thing that's been kept rather consistent is those stomach pains that he's been having that are coming on more frequently. (During first 22 chaps we don't get a lot of it since they're boning possibly 90% of the time)
In the breathers that was the 30 days Nergal was gone, Leon had provoked Mephisto (he's literally like a feral kitten atp) which somehow had relieved that pain and was the first time he outwardly acknowledged that the act felt good.
His body's changes have been
- getting more sensitive
- getting frequent stomach pains
(possibly my assumption is that that womb thing has been activated by Mephisto's aphrodisiac and/or was at the beginning of forming and technically pushed out all his mana in place of something)
Secondly his "womb" has possibly been maturing but I feel that there's a huge catch to who's child he can probably bear (Cliff's) so while he's getting pumped every now and then he probably won't be able to bear any children either until the womb matures (idk mans Mephisto pls explain) or Cliff reappears somehow (quite impossible unless Leon goes along with Nergal to another dimension which could be his death because his body cannot handle it rn)

Either way it's mostly Nagi was the last one to get Kotone.
But from what I'm assuming, if the sacred beast candidate doesn't get his Chosen One after a while the universe chooses another beast to be the candidate, and they have to keep their regions affairs in order before ascending through bonding with their chosen ones when they arrive.
Makes one wonder what happens to the previous Sacred Beasts and how they're chosen to be candidates. Most likely the divine scale that each one has to do soul swapping for the chosen one to live longer is passed down, and no one else can steal it. But the soul that it hosts can be rejected/accepted.

Though it makes me wonder in the original Yvonne route, if he does shake off his slave status and gets a small noble title, how ever did he get his happy ending with Yvonne? Guardian knight? FEH we all know that's bs with this sort of reaction towards Penelope.

In the game it was Winter, and now it's Eclis (previously he wouldn't have been there until the Duke picked him up from the auction house thing).
On top of that, it does seem like some weird things happen when her mask is off. Previously she was seen as a kind soul helping out Winter with the distribution of food in those areas and when she had her mask it was like she's the one behind the whole operation (I kind of forgot what it was) and getting rid of all the magicians??
Plus with how she's cold or chilled to the bone it could be that she's being controlled (like puppeteering) by a remote body? Her memories of past were erased maybe intentionally when she was kidnapped.
It would play out that she has the affection of all the male leads and the people, and her objective is to always destroy Penelope, but what actually happens after in the original game? Would it have been like there's a one true route and then idk she destroys the empire or something
