Well, I usually don't go for older romances or realistic-themed yaois because I come here to run from reality, not to it. Reading these types always leaves a strange feeling in my heart that I can't label because again, referring to life to escape from life doesn't work. But at the same time, I liked it. I saw so much of myself in both the seme and uke, far too sheltered from the world, socially awkward, pessimistic, and far too afraid to initiate in the fear that it falls. But because of that it was also, painful. So while this was overall a pretty great manga, I'd take your chiche and ridiculously fictional over it any day because I don't need vicarious heartache to add to my own.
It was good but:
1. That level of bullying just isn't realistic.
2. Just my personal POV, but if you're gonna be possessive do it all the way. Beat that boy ass.
3. Another POV, but forgiveness shouldn't come so easily. Bad past, but he doesn't deserve anything he hasn't earned.
4. Would have been so sexy if the uke was seme.
And finally:
5: I REALLY THOUGHT THIS UKE WAS YANDERE, I WAS WAITING FOR THOSE EYES TO SHOW ITS REASON FOR LOOKING LIKE THAT
Indeed, Kanggo came on a little too strong, but that had to hurt. He finally thought he could trust someone, and Kamin treated him like the rest would-- a monster. Kamin definitely had a hard time too because he's had a bad past only adding to his boundaries. Hope they can work it out.
no, I don't think he seems him as a monster. he's just really afraid that his innermost feelings and thoughts are not as hidden as he thought they were. he doesn't feel loved at home - and he's been in that kind of environment for years. the moment someone started spending so much time with him, loving him as a dear friend, etc... he really doesn't know what to do. because in his mind, he believes his grandma in that he sucks and because he exists his father died.
Just read chapter 24 on Lezhin and let me tell you, it's great y'all! It's a great manga period, so please support the author if you can! ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
I'm all for supporting authors whenever possible but i have a lot of issues with Lezhin, firstly I know it doesn't treat its creators nicely, they are underpayed and labbeled as 'extremists' if they do as much as make one complaint. Honestly I wish there were ways to support authors directly... Did I mention Lezhin also claims ownership over their works too? It's not like they can even change platforms and keep their manhwas. It's THAT radical.
So I just read Chapter 28 on Lezhin. It also seems to be the end of Season 1. Anyways, just know that the fluff we came for bout to get DARK IN THIS BVTCH. I mean there was always foreshadowing that the central conflict was hiding behind the scenes, but it's about to reveal itself entirely real soon. I'm a bit sad about it because this was he perfect slice of life for me, but who knows? I have full faith in this creator and this situation might deepen the relationships of this Manhwa. This is A-Grade work,so support the fam if you can!
