Do you guys remember when Melinda came to pick up Damian, she said that she loves him but he is also her "curse?"
That's BECAUSE THATS WHEN DONOVAN STARTED TO CHANGE, WHEN DAMIAN WAS BORN!!!
AND ALSO HOW DAMIAN RECALLED THAT DONOVAN USED TO BE CLOSE WITH HIS BROTHER
so Melinda may think that Damian's birth may have caused that???

It really all makes sense now
On how the eldest son doesn't even form thoughts and Melinda having hers scattered and unpredictable. All so he won't be able to read them... genuinely so impressive
Also this means loid is cooked LMAO bro was on a yapfest when he encountered and met Desmond ... especially how Desmond sighed when Damian was having thoughts about him https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/spy_x_family/nbt/to_chapter-38/pg-1/

I really want to see more characters actually develop, like mia, I think it'd be great for her to actually become a villain/antagonist for deborah considering how mia who is "pure" has thoughts of killing everyone. I hope we will get to see more of mia's thoughts and her completely switching up that would be great

thats their own fault, these are topics not comments. comments are reviews, topics are concerning the story and current events that are ongoing. this is where people go to discuss after new chapters come out, it'd be too tedious to add a spoiler tag every time because a select handful of people go here instead of the reviews to check if the story is worth checking out. also it's a really early development, hardly considered a spoiler

Dood fr, in one hand Mia looks like she's done with everyone's sht and deserves to do a 180⁰ switch like some villainess manhwa.
On the other hand, she feels like a parallel of Deborah that will make the opposite choices as Deborah, given how both of them were initially introduced as pushovers. Deborah chose to change and better herself. Idk what Mia will choose yet, but would be interesting if she really switches up to be the primary antagonist or is somehow related to the monsters that Deborah was talking about.

WOOOORDDDDD
I absolutely agree, it would make the story a lot more fun to read and actually give Deborah a bigger challenge to face
One of my issues is that, since she technically read the novel, how come doesn't she know about why mia is doing all of this (her nanny (?) trying to put her in high society and centre of attention for unknown reasons) Was it not mentioned in the novel when she was reading it perhaps?

the novel didn’t mention anything about how her nanny was influencing her actions. it’s just like how the novel didn’t mention anything about isidors character. it’s probably because the original novel is written from a unreliable narrator since isidor should have been mentioned given his standing in the universe ngl

If memory serves me right, she got isekai-d before the next volume of the novel was released. That's why she was kept in the dark on Mia's secrets and Guild Master's identity (Isidore), which (I assume) is information that's only available in the final volume.
Isidore's supposed to appear at the latest volume that she read too, but he ended up appearing earlier due to Deborah's interaction with Guild Master.
Also what mao said too, the novel seems to only has a general perspective of what happened: who likes who, what happened at this place, when and where the mythical artifacts appear etc, and doesn't really dwelled much into the minds of the characters.
God, too lily's design is just so gorgeous and awesome!!!
