Yup, in a lot of asian countries proposals sound something like, "i want to drink my morning tea with you for the rest of my life," or " "Will you make miso soup for me everyday?" but these are more old and traditional ways of saying it. In the chapter where Jade tells Jun that she wants to keep on eating his food everyday (when hes about to move out) in middle of the street bystanders thought jade was proposing to him. So in short she did propose to him in the last chapter, sort of.
This is probably just the end of season 1.
