also ngl, this webtoon does not handle the topic of abuse very well. it literally is just used as a plot device for the mc. because does it make sense that they have all been turning a blind eye to the other kids' experiences w/ the duke (and actually do the same thing as the duke does) then suddenly turn into responsible adults who care for a child's wellbeing just because a 'cute' kid appears in front of them? literally one of the worst ways to tackle abuse and neglect.
