Honestly, everyone is entitled to their opinions. But I don't think the manga stands with some of what you wrote. I don't think Nemu is a pushover or a doormat. The manga shows, he has stand up for himself many times, even in the beginning. He has slapped Maya, he stand up to Juuta, and he pushed away from Naoya. Also, he has stood up to Maya many times.
Manga demonstrates Nemu does change a lot. likewise with Maya, he does change a lot too. For Maya, he was arrogant before he started to change but I don't think he is a rapist. It depends on how you look at and I understand how people gets that but I don't because of the material. Nemu never considers rape for how he acted or thought. He was forced in the relationship, he was blackmailed. He was sexuality assaulted. Maya did criminal actions but not rape. (at least to me for analyzing the material in Japanese, fan translation, and official English translation )I wrote about chapter 1 here.

So why hold something against him when he was on a wrong path as a delinquent. Without Nemu, he would be a worthless loser with no path.... he even said something similar to this to Nemu.

He said "no" so he didn't give consent. He threatened to get him kicked out of school. Just because he isnt traumatized doesn't mean it's not rape. What matters is whether or not consent is given.

I feel like you did not read my comment nor my post. I was defending both Nemu and current Maya. I don’t consider Maya a rapist... what happens in the beginning should not matter... since Maya has changed so much.

Japanese he does not say no ... he says muri and that means impossible. He consent to a few things there. Since he was also curious as well as scared he probably didn’t know he consented Or subconsciously.. it depends and debate.
Traumatized is usually what happens. Especially if there like Nemu, shelter, a virgin, and his personality. Sorry depending on how you look at Nemu was not raped. It is from what I analyzed. I have paces myself a few months before looking at it again. This is not rape to me. Where the other titles I named does contain rape.

Look at all your downvotes, lol. But what you say is true. To a lot of people only being physically abused is considered toxic. But Hyunhin was very toxic and manipulative. The way he would manipulate the situation to get wanted or the way he manipulated his boyfriend to the point of stressing him out and worrying him until he returned to him exhausted from stressing about their relationship ending. It's amzing how many people don't see this as a problem.

I wouldn't be so surprised to find put if many of these commenters are in toxic and emotionally abusove relationships and don't know it or they don't think it is abusivre and toxic because their partner is showing jealousy etc. It's a shame.

They might seem "morally superior" to you and annoying, but if someone sees a character who's nice and think they're morally superior then that's more of an issue of the person seeing it as morally superior, to me he just has basic morals like "be loyal, don't lie, don't cheat", like exams, don't cheat ╮(￣▽￣)╭ and if you talk about real life, not every faithful person gets cheated on that would mean there's 0 couples lmao, and cheating is a part of this world, doesn't mean its good.
