Everyone's got their own likes and dislikes. Find flaws in a masculine seme as much as you want if that makes you feel better, cuz I do when point out all the flaws of a feminine uke.

I do agree, but I think you might be lumping up the definition of masculine (having qualities appropriate to or usually associated with a man) with the term jerk (a piece of shit).

Nope I disagree, that's called obsessive love and as long as ukes are fine with it, it's all cool. For me, masculinity is one of the most important features of a man, because that's what makes them men. things have been changing. folks are fighting back these old ideals and standing for their own standards of masculinity, that which welcomes femininity, vulnerability and emotional freedom as an integral part of it. if masculinity is the quality of things commonly attributed to men, you can expect a spectrum of traits that dates back centuries ago, and that up until recently were taken as the ultimatum on how men should look and behave like. it's been changing now. men who'd never agreed with that in the first place are speaking up. it's not something written in stone.
tl;dr: I really can't bring myself to paint masculinity as inherently abusive when it's only taking the words the older generations have been repeating over and over again in ignorance, then slapping a cute 'look how progressive I am!' label onto it. to reiterate: I'm 100% on board with tearing down toxic masculinity, which is exactly what you were describing.
