Ok so when Yuzuru learned the truth of being a demigod, he realizes that he and Takumi would end up like their father so he goes to kill himself at the shrine aka burning(but doesn't take Takumi with him for some reason, maybe because he didn't want to see Takumi suffering). But he survives the burns and Yuzuru and Takumi makes up. Then, after settling everything they both go and suicide together. So the ending means that in them to be forever together as spirits who live at the shrine.

In the prequel to Saezuru, Yashiro stole Kageyama's contact case in high school. Since then, Yashiro apparently kept this case, and Kageyama has always worn glasses. Doumeki discovered said case in the most recent chapter; and we suppose that he connected all the dots based on the initials "KK" that were written on the back of the case (having already known that Kageyama was Yashiro's first love).

Yes. Anybody can be that horrifically desperate and selfish. This sort of thing (envying a child for having the love you desire) is probably more common than we think.

It's not exclusively a woman thing. There are men who are jealous of their own children because they take the woman's main focus of attention away from them. It just depends on how messed up you are, really. And the girl in that last chapter is pretty messed up.
