not only is this chapter fucking beautiful in both the art itself and the writing but it’s showing something so powerful—this guy is suffering so badly because of a borderline-abusive relationship he’s been in for so long and he wants it to stop (or to at least change). he just wants to have a normal relationship with someone for once, which is something he’s clearly never really been able to have, and taku is the first person to actually be there for him in quite a fucking while. i’m feeling emotions right now that i didn’t know i even had and i hate it (also i feel like all of the anon comments about hating taku are from the same person)

FUCK thats sad.... but also, this story is like,,,,, so well written,,, because:
1. it isn’t just porn
2. not everything in it is “perfect” and the story itself along with its characters are actually really realistic
3. the art is sO GOOD
4. the characters are so well-developed
5. the story makes sense and when things go wrong, instead of not caring, we’re upset and we want things to change—showing that the author managed to get us REALLY invested with this story
This story isn't as well written as you claim it is
1. manga that's pornlike can be more well developed than this long drawn out manhua
2. many other stories aren't perfect; just because it shows some flaw and realism doesn't make it a good, well-written manhua
3. The art is very well-done but just because its pretty on the surface doesn't mean it doesn't lack in plot or progress
4. The characters (main couple) is decently developed by Yuyang's character is inconsistent for he was presented as this confident dude who of course had some insecurities and then the author turned him into a complete 180, dude who's completely traumatized that that ONE ex dumped him because they couldn't show PDA; yea one event can cause that but still, its a bit of an exaggeration and what was the catalyst? him seeing a girl talk and sit next to Lihuan
The other characters as in all the side characters are not developed well at all. No personality that has been shown and if she paced it better, they would've been developed better
5. the story doesn't really make sense and the problem would've been solved earlier; just because people are invested doesn't mean the author did anything well or special to get ppl invested; audiences are stupid--and that's just a saying meaning the audience gets fooled very easily; a lot of ppl are also invested in objectively shitty mangas or manhuas like A man like you or Sekaiichi Hatsukoi or "Meeting him"; point is you shouldn't base the manhua's quality on audience's emotionally charged opinions; and I'm pretty sure a good amount of people are more annoyed
