"my dad can't stand the sight of me" wtf now your dad shouldn't be allowed to have a child if he's gonna hate you for who you are. imo a parent who hated their own child for being gay should idk jump off a bridge? parents without unconditional love towards their child and abandoning their responsibilities have failed as a human being. seunghee's family is literally torn apart, he'd rather stay away from home just because his dad is there... i wonder how traumatizing it was for him to come out. there's nothing wrong with being gay, and coming to terms with the fact can be the most painful thing, and who should've been the most understanding and supportive? parents. no wonder he's so negative towards human interaction and lack basic courtesy, imagine having your own family turn their backs away from you... who would've trust anyone tbh

ngl kyubin hugging seungtaek around his tummy... made my heart flutter dhhdjdjsjsj and when he looked up oh my god what a puppy ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ it's super obvious that kyutaek is good for each other. seungtaek is there to change kyubin's for the better, helping him study and ensuring his future instead of staying in his bullying delinquent ways, and kyubin is someone seungtaek can stay tethered to, someone he can love. ughh i love character development, now if only they sort out their feelings and date ugh can't wait

yall dont need to read this since its a long ass essay lmaooo but yall wanna know why i like this manhwa? because of the realistic portrayals of human qualities in all of the characters. its not your typical black and white story where the  protagonist is good and noble and the antagonist is pure evil. this manhwa said fuck it and told us a story abt a bully who loves someone with a passion, the prim and proper class rep whos actually impulsively violent, and the mc whos a closet gay with a negative outlook in life. what makes it more unique is that the main character and the main pairing are different. if i didn't know abt seunghee's circumstances, i wouldn't like him as well. he's not really written to be likeable and he's kind of a dick too & im pretty sure thats the intention of the author. ofc, it's anyone's free choice to hate him, but he is the mc for a reason. the author's real good with slow-burn character development. liking kyubin is a hard pill to swallow for me (since i had bad experience w bullies) but i like him anyways, since his character developed a lot for the better, ever since i knew abt the situation w his family. i hope yall will give seunghee a chance when his character develop as well. you don't have to like him, but it isn't fair for him to be judged so hard when we don't know his situation. hes an asshole but the extension of his attitude problems is just him being rude. hes not violent, hes not manipulative, he just stays in his lane. you won't know the sufferings lgbt folks face unless you put yrself in their shoes. maybe yall are weirded out bcs of why i invest so much in his character, but its just bcs he's actually me in a sense, except that i don't crossdress and i can never be as real as him. i fake my actions too much even when i don't like interacting w a certain someone. so yea. i really like him. but he does need to fix his attitude tho lmaoooooo. we're in this journey for a total of 90 something chapters so it's obvious there'll be a lot ups and downs for the characters and a lot of room for development! OMG ALL THIS ESSAY FOR AN ILLEGAL MANGA SITE? I NEED A JOB BUY THE MANHWA GUYS

btw not so spoilers but since i read the raws i need to gush abt this: seunghee is pretty cute when he likes the Right Guy. and his beau is too attractive ugh i love him

ppl bitching abt seunghee's attitude in general and failing to take into account that he was bullied, blackmailed, used, threatened to be outed and rejected by his own family? he's just being himself and not shoving his ass onto other ppl's business and yall can't take that fact and just go oh hes a bitch i hate him. not every main character has to be that good righteous guy. he's human, he's not perfect and he just wants to be alone due to his sexuality and circumstances. yall can accept kyubin being a bully due to his family history bcs yea he has a bae and is very cute w him but yall can't accept seunghee being mildly hostile and passive aggressive towards others when he just wanted to protect himself? sure.

i love the current pairing. they're very cute. but i love seunghee as well. hes a gay lil shit who's antisocial because he knows ppl will turn their back onto him if he ever comes out. i feel the same, i'm gay and i choose my friends very carefully because i'm afraid of being hurt. sure, he can be a bit positive and better and yall dont hv to like him, but bitching abt how you hate him wont do you good.

also didnt yall notice abt the thing w suhyeok. he went to the teachers room to "confess" that hes the thief but how was the money still in kyubin's book? im pretty sure theres another devil we need to worry abt. i need more updates aaaaaaa

now that i know his backstory, i kinda like kyubin. i mean, he went through a pretty hard time and he really like seungtaek, to the point that he's afraid of being a monster. maybe it's because of how intense his feelings in coupled with the fact that he rarely shows affection to anyone but seungtaek, whom he actually have genuine feelings for. it's kinda sweet.

but i don't get why people were so pissed off with how seunghee reacted to kyubin's outburst. firstly, i know he intended well to protect seunghee from the creep ( LOVE how he smashed that car) and seunghee's also real dumb to jump into a stranger's car (i wish seunghee'd just get give kyubin a piece of his mind and then went home ALONE). but i get why he was mad at kyubin's suddenly telling him he likes seungtaek when he's been harrassing seunghee all the while before. before i read abt kyubin's backstory i really dislike him. bcs i can relate to what seunghee feels when he was harrassed and threatened to be outed by kyubin (im a gay guy who was feminine back in school and i got a lot of shit for it despite doing my own stuff). i dislike seunghee's impulsive behaviour when he does stupid decisions like siding with the creep, but i'm glad the author portray him as someone who's strong and stands up on his own, not allowing kyubin to get away with his shit and telling him off that he's not okay being treated like he was in the beginning ( wish i had that courage when i was made fun of). hes just a guy doing his own stuff and being himself. still, kudos to kyubin for being protective of both seungs (the creepy adult needs to knock it off). i hope it gets better between seunghee and kyubin though. i'd like to see them as friends (and i hope this story goes there, i mean its abt seunghee and kyubin x seungtaek so i'm pretty there'll be a lot of three of em in the future).

also the black hair guy at the bus stop is NOT the helmet guy. he's kwon suhyeok and the helmet guy is kwon inbeom. they're probably related (twins(?)) but i'm glad seunghee will end up w suhyeok). can't wait for their story! (and loving the current one too, i need both dorks to sort things out and get together so we can go to the fluffy parts uwu and for seunghee to be the middle man (will he? idk i don't read the raws lol)). i can't wait for more chapters, this manhwa is great.

(pls put on spoiler) will this get better? will kyubin change for the better? i want to support the kyubin x seungtaek ship but the fact that he is kind of a bully, harassed seunghee a lot as well as beating the shit out of seungtaek kinda puts me off (⊙…⊙ ) this current flashback is real cute and all but then i remembered kyubin's attitude at the beginning and i just go...

idk i really like the premise of this manhwa, seunghee is cute, seungtaek is cute, even kyubin is cute (if i look past his flaws) and i can't wait for seunghee's bae to come up but yea i'm sorry, i'm just sensitive to this trope where your love interest is a problematic bad boy (not saying he's the only one, the others are too but he gave quite an impact)
