She's basically a grounding rod for the main characters that have a lot going on though.. I think it fits

This. If Kana has a lot of character and things going on it's going to be overwhelming. As basically someone who's holding Aqua's sanity, she needs to be kinda bland. That's also the reason why him and Akane didn't work out. They're both Crazy AF

Maybe Leo should have done some reflection on why they're breaking up first instead of rushing to become fuck buddy huh? It's just a thought.

He literally doesn’t know, he doesn’t understand what he did to JJ and JJ is being just being stubborn. They haven’t talked it out like they both should but JJ being the “hurt” party should explain when Leo asked or just plan reject his request which he completely put in an insincere as he didn’t just want to be fuck buddies.

tbh it's even sadder he doesn't understand what he did while other people know his behavior wasn't that great: cue to the friend in chapter 1 who told J.J he should show some tough love to Leo, hinting he shouldn't give in to his whims too much + Leo's attitude was the usual. It showed us some of Leo's friends/acquaintances have witnessed Leo's behaviors, and that, at least, one person wouldn't have kept up with Leo if they were in J.J shoes.

Now, i'm just gonna hope that if some of those friends/acquaintances mentioned how Leo acted in the past, he'd listen... Unless someone already talked about it while they were dating, and he brushed it off.

I get it, but he’s the baby of his family, his behavior has always been accepted and that’s why he doesn’t know or understand the way he acted was not ideal. Not sparing JJ as he acted like Leo is supposed to read his mind and understand him without proper context or a conversation, for example when you read their thoughts

yeah, being spoiled def shaped Leo, and it also shows in other rs like how he acts towards his manager sometimes...

I wished J.J would have spoken (or lashed out verbally) because it's always interesting when an introverted character finally snaps, but also... i saw his behavior as the mirror of someone who is defeatist/stopped believing there's a point, if that makes sense ("would he even listen to me?" mindset, "Are we repeating the same pattern again and again?" )? The reasons for my interpretation: Leo pushing the blame of being late on J.J, Leo kinda being comfortable in insulting J.J (and even if he was drunk, looking down on a partner's ""boring"" lifestyle feels questionable), J.J "I already told you" which hinted they already had an important talk, but Leo heard him without listening to him (different degrees of attention).

Even when I think about the other chapters, there was no hint of Leo being in the mindset of someone ready to have a talk (because he seems more hung up about J.J possibly sleeping with someone else or the sexual nature of a rs?? which is another sad thing) - and with anyone.

Both characters are interesting to me, but what's lacking is... the chemistry or having tiny cracks that showed, that even if they didn't manage to talk about their feelings to eo, there was something that would encourage to root for them as a couple... idk it feels like they are both stuck in a vicious circle while hurting each other.

I said Leo needs to apologize too, but honestly JJ gave up on the relationship without ever having a conversation with him about how he feels, and then proceeded to be as mean as possible. He could’ve just said no to being fuck buddies
