Majority of the characters treat people solely based on their looks, money, and status. if you have none of that, like the heroine, you're treated like a slave Apart from the heroine, most of them doesn't stop to think for a moment about how their words and actions can hurt others. Even if their actions are disliked by the heroine. She just falls for the male lead ignoring his rotten personality on calling girls ugly.
Even if this type of thing happens in daily life, the mangaka doesn't make an effort to teach that this type of behaviour is cruel to the core. She/he makes overweight people quite pathetic. And that as long as you have looks, money, or status you are to be treated like gods.
Studied so hard to read and speak Mandarin, despite having assignments and a list of worries, just so I can read the raws. I've just learned 200 Chinese characters, I'll try reading now.
One day, you might end up reading a manga I translated from Chinese. But now, I'm still learning. While Chinese grammar was very easy, easier than English grammar, I only know about 100 Chinese characters. They say that you have to know about 3000 characters to read and understand Chinese writings. I'm still learning every day. Thank you for your reply. You have no idea how much it encourages me.
The story mingled with historical facts, art, characters, and everything else is just(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 spectacular.
