Modern man reincarnated to murim because of his father’s keepsake, a crimson Jade amulet. Within this amulet is the spirit of many successful ancestors of the Jo (the Mc’s) family. Since he’s died once already, yet reincarnated instead of being absorbed into the crimson jade, he is able to hear the voices within the amulet.

Gains power very fast and there’s quite a few time skips, which lose a few points in my book.. but it’s overall a good story and the characters beside the MC are also pleasant. I did feel like using the ice-crystal prize as a fridge, instead of to cure his sick younger sister, kind of sucked and felt like a plot hole that was ignored… but oh well. Like a 7 or 8 outta 10.

It’s so wholesome and easy to read, with lots of cute animal characters that are drawn so SO adorably! Harem? As if. The only harem is how many furry friends the MC keeps collecting with his kindness and cooking skills.

Second update, ~Chapter 93 (01/18/2025):
• The plot is really starting to pick up! We’re getting explanations about the tower, about Aileen and her family.. and even about that Villainous Boar, Greed! I’m really happy when reading this, and cannot wait to see how the story progresses in the future.

It’s a LOT easier to tolerate when you go into this knowing that the MC isn’t a good guy, and is instead a psychopath who acts like (and actually calls himself) a villain.
