That he was dying. And then absolutely break down crying when HE broke when he realized he not only killed yeon but his child too. Him breaking hurt even more when he realized that. I had to stop reading cause I cried so hard.
This was an absolutely beautiful story. I loved it so much. The kids were adorable. I hope they post the side stories. I want more on them n the kids.

This scene doesn't really work for the story as-written.
The point was to portray Sousuke as actually having a spine, even though he's normally a blubbering mess. I can appreciate that sentiment, since soooo many bottoms/ukes are portrayed in BL as being spineless crybabies who are effectively useless outside of their roles as sexholes. But any number of other circumstances more tonally appropriate to the story could've been used to convey this sentiment.
Also, would Mitsuhiko really have let things get that far, with the guy balls-deep in him? I don't know.... Mitsuhiko seems like the type that would've applied fist-to-face and walked away. And the guy assaulting him seemed just like a weeny office nerd too, idk. These random unnamed rapist plotlines really stretch believability in pretty much every story they're in.
This rape scene also doesn't really work for emotional impact since it features Mitsuhiko rather that Sousuke. Mitsuhiko just lets things roll off of him, and as a sex worker, is probably more able to compartmentalize sex with people he's not interested in than someone like Sousuke. A rape scene involving Sousuke would've had much more emotional impact (not that I wanted to see this). As written it's both tonally inappropriate for the story and completely half-arsed.
It was really just small a blight in an otherwise really nice story of a seke-positive couple who actually care about each other's feelings and desires.

I will admit Vasser kinda pissed me off when she didn’t try to go through the portal right away when she found out that if she didn’t leave everyone would basically disappear but after push and shove and basically having to go through and fixed everything. It was good n jolly. I really liked this story. At first I was a bit annoyed n a little bored but it gets really good later on. I wish I couldve seen a little more of the love story between Parrat & Kyte’s sister bc it seems like they were together in the end.
This was actually really good considering I only read bl or shonen. I’m so sad that ritrel & toi died. I feel like they could’ve just gotten gravely injured but didn’t HAVE ago due. I know that’s not the case sometimes in real life/war but I felt like they didn’t need to. It could’ve just been some extras or something. I also wished there would’ve been a little more on the married lives w the other characters. Anyway, I love Edna. Best female lead. She was strong n didn’t need no mans help not once to defend her. She was strong on her own and even stronger than Eli at the end. I love me a baddie. Lol
