The brother is that one side character who silently had one of the best character arcs. He knew what he did wrong, put distance between themselves in the new life and when his brother expressed his desire to no longer interact with him, he quitely walked away. He understood how his actions resulted in the death of his own brother in the past and was properly remorseful for everything he did. I do feel bad for him because you can't really change your past and he has to carry the burden of his past life for the rest of his life. I want a new manhwa with him with a love interest.
Anyway, I feel like it would have been better if their sexual relationship started AFTER the reincarnation. This is just my opinion, but Taehyuk DID raise Hyoun as his guardian. It did feel weird when they started fucking in that timeline since Taehyuk fully raised him as his father figure. That one particular ick factor would have been removed if they first had sex after Taehyuk's reincarnation.

Guys, it's been like, 49 chapters. It took people this long to realize Chaehyeon is obsessive possessive? Yall didn't figure that out in 49 chapters? It's clear that Chaehyeon plays into that trope heavily. The author never sugar coated it. It's a bit too late to complain about his possessiveness in the SIDE stories.

Honestly, no one in this is innocent at all. Kiyoto literally took advantage of a vulnerable person who he KNEW wasn't in any position to consent to him. Touji is simply with him as a rebound since he is still stuck on Yachiyo. Yachiyo tried to move on and tried to use his wife as a rebound too. Like, this is scum's wish but the characters are less shitty lol. Kiyoto isn't the sweety everyone is making him out to be. A drunk person can't consent and he should have known better.
Kiyoto is genuinely the character I get the MOST ick from. He could have advised Touji to not take such a drastic decision in the heat of the moment and refused his drunken advises but he doesn't.
I just know Yachiyo is going to be very hurt once he learns that Touji ended up dating a man when he rejected Yachiyo for being a man, ouch.

Starting it wih a drunk guy is sure meh but touji was given an out several times and he went ahead with it as he was sobering up so eh, and They had a convo on the stairs, kiyoto told him that just sleeping with a man to see if he can go through with it won’t give him answers about what he felt for yachiyo etc, he gave him all the warnings but touji is an adult and made his choice, and what was his alternative? Going after a now married man? He decided to try figuring his feelings out, exploring this new possibility he realized and at the same time made a step of moving on by being with kiyoto
Also yachiyo already figured it out what was happening between touji and kiyoto when he showed up at grandmas funeral, he connected the dots that touji is dating someone and this guy came all the way here for him means it’s him, he even talked to kiyoto as two people that love touji
And then touji didnt reject yachiyo for being a man, he didn’t even fully get exactly what yachiyo meant cause yachiyo deliberately didn’t explain to the point he’d fully grasp it, knowing he’s a bit dense he only said it out loud to get it off his chest, if he was actually trying to make a move he’d make his point understood to no question, touji didn’t realize yachiyo meant it in that way, never questioned whether he’d feel that for a Man himself and he had a gf at the time, so it’s not a “rejected for being a man only to be with another man” thing
They got hurt the most because of losing each other from their lives, not just cause their relationship isn’t romantic

I am not saying Touji was supposed to pursue a now married Yachiyo. Just that he was very vulnerable in the moment because he was coming back from the marriage of the very guy he never even realized he had feelings for. He was just not in a stable position in THAT very moment. Not that he couldn't pursue and experiment with his sexuality with other people to understand what he felt for Yachiyo. Be that as it may, it's clear Kiyoto was the stepping stone anyway. It's clear the love interest here is Yachiyo and not Kiyoto. Kiyoto simply existed to push Touji to understand his feelings for Yachiyo further.
This is honestly such a breath of fresh air. The characters felt mature and the conflict actually felt like a proper conflict/issue rather than a manufactured one just for the sake of it. Both Amamiya and Kashiwagi felt like such mature characters who were understanding of each other. I agree though, they give me such heavy switch vibes. I can absolutely see Kashiwagi topping Amamiya lol.
