So first I have a question, at what point did Jiskar realize Ray’s real identity? I mean, more like come in term with it? Cause when Ray was imprisoned and tortured Jiskar was all « heh you’re Lenovard (ok i don’t remember the name I tried) ‘s son ». And Ray felt despair cause Jiskar was apparently a man of facts so there was afterall no way for him to believe he got reincarnated.
Then, Ray escaped, Christian verbalizes that he has recognized him. Few months pass, Ray and Jiskar meet again and now Jiskar has already accepted that Ray is the reincarnated emperor?! 0-o When did he accept it? Did I read too fast? Cause the moment I love the most with this trope is the meet again/realization part. Where is it? TAT
Aaaaand I think this story has become super messy ever since Ray got his first crystal. Things were already pretty too much dramatic before that, but it was fun to read. But after that moment I found the pace to be quite messy and the storytelling a bit around the place. Too much false conflicts that got resolved without really trying and without tension, be it the political one, monsters one or romantic one.
I still enjoy it, but I hope it will get a bit better still TwT

Muscles weigh heavier than fat. So when one does sport, they often don’t loose weight at all at first, and might even actually start weighing heavier. It’s muscle. Weigh is a parameter to check, but it gives out vague indications, and isn’t always an indicator of health.
Seeing ML’s height and musculature now, I wouldn’t be surprised he weighs really heavy x)
So yeah, don’t get worried, be kind, patient, to yourselves and others. Sport is health, whatever the weigh.

The MC is so selfish to ask ML to make up with his parents when they are the one who neglected him for THIRTY years, abandoning him as soon as he was an adult and only calling him every few years to ask for things. They are the one who should be making up, ML is just a neglected child who needed his parents to care for him when growing up. And they discriminated against their own child ffs… and even ended up leading their « favorite one » to depression with the way they treated each of their children
Losing one’s family is tragic, but when a child don’t have contact with their own parents it’s for really good reasons and something they wish they didn’t have to do. You don’t make someone get close to their neglectful (which is a sort of abuse) family because you wished you still had your own. That’s selfish, unfair and condescending (in the way that it leads to seeing the pain of being neglected being less important than the one of losing your family).

Madam, like, you did bear MC, but didn’t meet him nor see him grow up for 20 years. Completely abandoning him. You’re a progenitor, that’s all you are.
And I still can’t get over the fact that she freaking had him get freaking MUTILATED, this is so god awful! Why isn’t she thrown in prison? That’s freaking abuse on mentally impared people !
And how she just went messing with them when ML isn’t Mc’s freaking uncle, whining about protecting MC… MC and ML have no blood relationship, she didn’t raise MC at all so she is just a stranger to him, ML and MC met when MC was a 20 years old adult so there is not once bit of grooming or morally dubious family sense to them… ML was a freaking jerk, but she was just a monster who consciously destroyed the life and health of the one she gave birth to. MC not knowing her one bit. Just a complete stranger destroying his life out of nowhere, locking him up just so she could hurt her step brother, freaking mutilated his body (I just can’t), and even kidnapping even his kid! (cause she’s just a progenitor, Mc and ML’s child can’t be even remotely considered her grandkid. Hell.)
Thanks for reading my rant, I’m really furious with this thing. Even more so that I feel like the narration doesn’t convey enough how much of a monster she is. She seems pictured as kind of a simple bad guy, when what she did was just inhumane. Hope she suffers

For any kind of assault, being drunk is actually an aggravating circonstance. Cause alcohol doesn’t make you do things you would not be able to do when sober. So when one person assaults another when drunk, they actually wouldn’t have much problem with doing it sober.
So stay safe, and away from violent and mean drunks. Alcohol is never an excuse
Gosh, I knew we wouldn’t really get a happy ending, but it really felt unfair. Pierre deserved wayyy better. Poor guy wasn’t helped at all.

The story was greatly written and it was a really interesting ride, but having been reading this for more than 10 years I feel bad
Oooh ok I understood! So back when they where highschoolers, there WERE a bit something between them, thought they each hid it behind a « we’re just making out for fun lol ». As they each grew feelings, MC sees ML kissing someone in the class and gets heartbroken. BUT we can see on the kissing panel the moles are not the right ones, it’s ML’s twin! Who is wearing a wig apparently cause that’s not his hair color.
So then we get MC who thinks that the « we’re just making out for fun lol » was indeed for fun and no flirting, and he breaks things up with ML. Things happen, ML’s twin dies, years pass, and MC and ML met again. They both are « oh, my old crush who broke my heart by being interested in someone else/breaking up out of nowhere! I might have a chance this time! ».
But they are both idiots who won’t talk about « hey last time when we were in high school you did this I was sad. I had a crush on you it’s a bit embarrassing but YEARS HAVE PASSED SO I CAN TALK ABOUT IT ». So instead they feel anxious around each other and play a game of tag. So yeah, now I understand why ML thinks MC is weird with his boundaries.
Only mystery left is why the brother wore a wig and why he died. Was he jealous of ML and trying to pass as him to destroy his reputation?
