I kind of sympathise with duke, just imagine being told you are genius for your whole life then comes overwhelming opponent you can't win over; then using whatever means to get over that fear but still gets beaten up, gets advantage of in blinded phase, has no close ones...god that is really shitty.

Yeah he betrayed but i don't think it's classic normal family plus he is still a teen, it's like he became worthless for his family after his loss and no elder shot him back to his senses....
I'm not saying he deserves sympathy for what he has done but well it's just sad
