Bro literally 13 chapters in and this shit already has me pulling at my hair.
The audacity of the ML to call the kid "his" like no, you weren't involved for the past 5 years you're not going to be involved now. The way he struts into the MCs life like he owns it and he can do whatever is disgusting. Electric chair.
The way he is imposing a bunch of shit on this guy who fathered his kid and hasn't seen him for the past 5 years and literally trying to get him to quit his job so that he can stay at home and just be used as his sex toy is disgusting too. Lethal Injection.
The way he kidnapped and raped the MC after their second meeting after 5 years, and how he tried to act like he was the victim in what happened 5 years ago as though the MC had done it intentionally? Disgusting. Guillotine.
The trope of the stereotypical rich family not below hurting kids for money and the family assets? Nasty. Gas chamber.
The ML. Deplorable. Skinned alive and preserved in salt and lemon juice until he dies a slow and painful death.
You genuinely can't make this story into smt worth my time if you tried, I hate it. The art style is beautiful but the plot is so triggering I'm up at midnight writing this shit unable to keep reading this manga. I have never felt such rage and vitriol towards a character in such a short span of time it's genuinely insane. I know that this will eventually be turned into a romance (stockholm syndrome) and I can't handle that. I'm prioritising my mental health and not sitting through entire chapters of rape for an ending I will hate, unfortunately even the cuteness of the kid ain't enough for me to get through this trash heap. So yeah, if someone can in fact finish it one day and perhaps loosely fill me in, I may appreciate it but I would never put myself through reading the whole thing for myself.
Have a great day and take my warning if you wanna get into it and don't know what to expect.

So I tried to analyze what exactly it is about this manhwa that makes me want to rip my hair out of my head so much, and I realized it's because the ML/seme gets absolutely NO FLAK for being a piece of trash.
He talks like a piece of trash, he acts like a piece of trash, and he treats Noah/Yejun terribly. And what does he get in return? Yejun doesn't even give him a hard time, he just goes with whatever the seme wants, and his sister even pulls the "he had a rough childhood" narrative our of her ass just to make Yejun and us readers sympathize with him. As if that's any excuse to be a prick with the emotional intelligence of a celery.
When you write a character with the most vile personality you could think of, and you make everyone in the story tolerate him and he doesn't get any punishment/suffering for it, what do you think is the message you're giving off to the readers? That assholes will be assholes and there's nothing we can do about it? There's a reason why they're like that, so they don't need for them to change? How odd.
Just noticed only korean manhwa authors seem to write stories like this. Let a chinese manhwa author handle this story and the ML/seme will be suffering and chasing for 100+ chapters.

The amount amount of ppl putting the blame on J.J. lol. He has boundaries from the very start. He even bend some of his boundaries for Leo when thet start dating. Have y'all read the first chapters? Everyone around them agrees that Leo was taking J.J. fir granted!. Leo wasn't even aware of his actions that lead to the break up. When J.J. asked Leo if he even think of him as his boyfriend speaks volume about their relationship.
No regret arc for J.J.? Ofc, Leo is the one who should be regretting.

Hot yakuza daddy is always a 10/10 and it was a solid read though I had some gripes. MC a bit too flip-floppy for my taste and neck tattoo being offed for all he knew was pretty swept under the rug, but it wasn’t really about that in the first place.
Honestly though? Biggest missed opportunity is the loss of any nuance or grey areas by just making the timeskip bf a generic asshole/playboy. Someone heartbroken and emotionally vulnerable falling into a rebound romance and potentially ending up a problem partner themselves by being emotionally distant because they’re not actually feeling it is kind of painfully real in some situations but making the dude an asshole because MC can do no wrong, to justify his “cheating” is a shame and feels like the easy way out. Have your cake and eat it too type way of adding angst for MC without real consequences or moral dilemmas. Oh well. Solid story all ‘round still. Big brother best boy.
