I still like both. Coz manga have classic vibe with black en white can see full detailed got used to it for a every long time before manhwa got introduced to me. For manhwa its just upgraded version of colored one or not just a long strip where you see sum extta longggggggg white space panel lmao and sum cute chibis drawin or sum cute funny meme ......
I don’t pay attention to which is which, but I read and enjoy a lot of the mainstream BL which is mostly manhwa(I think lol) But Some of my fav BL authors are Japanese like Scarlet Beriko & CTK I do want to read more manhua because I LOVE DANMEI
I usually like how the story is written better on manga and is more unique but I read more manhwa than manga bc it have colors lmaoo. But I like both quite equally because im not that picky on what I read.
For BL, manga. I don't recall the last time I read a rich douche top taking advantage of a timid poor bottom in a manga lol. I feel like that stereotype is more common in manhwa since chaebol+kdrama influence. Some manhwa are exceptional of course but there's more variety in manga. Plus manga are shorter so you get to read more stories within the s......

Naah man the rating for this work is too low. It's so fulfilling and sweet. Thanks to the person who recommended this manga in their list.i read this when i was in highschool back in 2016. i truly loved this story; one of my favorites of all time. i loved the sketchy style of the art and panels; loved how the dialogue flowed; loved the atmosphere and feelings but now reading it again in 2024, i have the same feelings but there's something missing. what senpai felt for mami was no joke; he was capitvated by her. i don't think it was platonic love but then again it just might be, like, the person can be your soulmate without any romantic subtext. but he also loved hoshino which we can say was romantic love yet he never voiced his love for him as much as he did with mami. He wanted to protect, shelter and honor mami even going as far as to ask her hand in marriage. but he didn't even do the bare minimum for hoshino, who's apparently the object of his attraction. And if mami were alive (obvs that would erase the point of the manga) but isn't that...sad? if she were alive, would senpai be conflicted and waver when he sees hoshino again? unfortunately, i don't think so which just makes this a lot harder to digest now that I've grown up.
