I'm am now noticing the rapid change in what are the most viewed yaoi and shounen ai these days and i'm noticing that less and less mangas are being added or are gaining a lot of readership. Like when I first started reading this genre is was all japanese manga, it was the same storylines with a different author. There colorful korean counter parts seem to be gaining more attraction with newer and a larger variety of storylines and have full colored stories. So which ones you guys prefer more and what do you guys think about is? O.G Mangas or Hip Webtoons?
I personnally don't care if it's japanese, korean, chinese or even if it's from Mars, I just want great art and storyline line.
The only thing I find too bad is the little effort comics put in their covers. Most of the time, I don't even start comics because the cover looks bad. But well, it might be because of my habit to see "real" covers on mangas and it never cease to amaze me when I start reading them. Hope this made sense.
Uhm both have their good points but I think I'd prefer manga still. Some manhwas tend to start really nice with a good prompt/idea and all then it kinda drags on needlessly and ends flat. Ofc there's no denying a lot of manhwas are not like that and are beautiful af to the end, but I'm speaking abt the majority....
Mangas tend to have smaller amount of chapters so the story may seem to have a congested plot or no plot at all (most, if not all the time). But it amazes me that even on a smaller number of chapters, most of them still work out and move ppl emotionally. Except for the all smut and no plot category (they move ppl in a diff way)
But hey that's just my opinion (=・ω・=)
i think both, after reading them enough times. manga and all the rest, are equally stale, and repetitive, with the occasional good story line.
but yes, a lot are guilty of starting well, then dragging. Or lately, we have uploaders, whom just provide the parts they want to, and cut the rest. So we're not even getting the full story.
i went to manhwas cause everyone ranted and raved about them, but they were just the same as regular manga after enough reads.
I cannot remember the name of this, but it is about a male who slept with a women because he thought she was hired to sleep with him but wasn't. She then got pregnant and had two kids by him and she has no idea who he was or how she got pregnant. He is a executive of some sort and she is now working as his secretary. Does anyone know the name of this manga?
