I just want to ask this now, so I won't be crying later, is this really romance? Like, not a trap for us? Because the mask guy falling romantically for the middle school girl seems a little bit hard. If something is going to develop between them, I don't think it'll be romantic but more of a dependency/addictive relationship sorta thing
For some reason I don't like Mei, I mean your brother suddenly changed and started to hang out with a probably bag group of people and instead of trying to help him you blame him? I know he's jealous but come on!
It's not Mei's fault that Akane started hanging out with bad people. But it because of Akane that Keisuke wasn't paying attention to Mei, that's why Mei told Akane to stop being rebellious. That's just a normal feeling. And for Akane, noone did anything bad to him. He did all those himself. Not being able to wish happiness to Mei is one thing, acting rebellious to express hatred is a form of self-pitying.
How did you know Mei hadn't talked talk with Keisuke? Do you think Keisuke would listen to Mei seeing Akane going wild like that? If it were you, do you want your boyfriend to think you're heartless and have no love for your twin brother? And Mei was just a highschool boy. Like I said that kind of reaction is pretty normal. You seem to be missing out on the fact that Akane was the one who made things hard for himself and for everyone around him.
You're right and what you're saying is really reasonable. However, when someone is going on the wrong path, especially someone from your family, you shouldn't go on and make things even worse by putting extra blame on them. The person already has a lot of burden on them, why add more to the point that the person in pain gets crushed by all of it? I know what Mei did is natural but I don't think this was the way to approach the problem. By the way, thank you for your reply :)
Yes Mei was a selfish moron for acting so insensitively like that. But my point is, and this is the last time I'm saying because it seems that I'm the minority here, that everyone seems to be hating on Mei so much they've neglected the fact that Mei got killed and then got his lover stolen from him. Is the thing he said that much of a sin? And everyone seems to be sorry for Akane so much they forgot that everything Akane did wasn't out of guilt or traumatized feelings. It's for the shake of staying by Keisuke's side, it's for his own shake.
I feel no sympathy for Akane. It's not like he is gloomy and dark and stupid and everyone tries to distant from him or anything. He is just different from his twin brother and somehow Mei always gets what he wants. He didn't even tried to create his own identity and just went and made all the dramas. That's why I think this is fucked up. If you've read until this point of my comment, thank you for your patience :)
I know everyone feels bad for Itsuki and I do too but I think Ai-chan is in a sadder situation. I mean he really seems to love his brother and I see no chance of his love becoming mutual. He also cares about Itsuki but he can love him as much as he loves his brother. And he's stuck, there's nothing he can do. Either someone is going to come and help him move on, or he's gonna go mad.
I'm with you on that
