a writer encounters a strange and mysterious neighbour who may or may not be a serial killer. this story was ripe with mystery and tension and was such a hard read sometimes because of how much emotion is crammed into it. the way the mystery unfolds is just magnificent and the story just improves the more you read. there are a few iffy things about the story, but by the end it's so good that you end up forgetting all of those things.
