So I read the raws and I hate the girl now. She got upset and stopped talking to the guy cause some drunk girl kissed him (not his fault and she wouldn't let him explain). Then she goes home and gets all in secure about her body. The daycare friend (the one who the bf saw kissing her) comes over and hugs her outside her house. The bf sees. Gets angry (understandably) and then she slaps him when he accuses her of cheating.

Sorry but he's got the right to get upset when this friend has been intimate with her previously and she doesn't even seem to acknowledge it. She on the otherhand only saw some random drunk girl kiss him and she didnt even let him explain.

Bf leaves and the friend comes inside . The friend proceeds to feel her up touching her bare breast and pulling off her trousers and up until the end when she cried she barely protested. The friend leaves and then she has a dirty dream about the bf that at the end turns into the friend

I understand why some people are frustrated with Ariadna. She's weak and can't do anything on her own. However I do think that the way she's portrayed is reasonable because she is a princess and wasn't thought how to fight. We all watched her grow up and she spent her entire childhood playing and eating snacks so I think it would be extremely unbelieveable if she was just able to run the kingdom or use a sword against attackers when she doesn't have the experience.

Though I am pretty upset and frustrated that they haven't done anything to develop her character further.

The missed opportunity I was thinking about was that after Caitel was knocked unconscious they could have used that to develop her character. Keep Caitel unconscious for 3-5 years. During that time as next in line to the throne she could have stepped up as ruler and been taught swordsmanship, leadership etc. She would have learnt to defend herself and live in a world not protected by her father (and asiisi cause he's at war) and it would have been amazing for her character. We would have seen her develop into a strong female lead. Then her father could have woken up and she could show him how much she's grown maybe even reference back to him when she joked tearlier in the manga(when she was younger) how she would defeat him and become emperor. Around this time we could have then found out about what Perdel did and instead he could have said that he thought Ariadna would be a better ruler because she cares more for the people of her kingdom. To reinforce this when she ran away they could have shown her interacting with the people of the kingdom and showing great care for them(dropping hints that she cares for the country).

That's why although I understand she is a princess who spent her whole life in a cage I believe this would have been a great way to turn her into a strong female lead. When I think about it that way I just get even more disappointed in what they chose to do with that whole story line. Don't get me wrong I still enjoy the story and will continue to read it until it ends but it could have been better

Btw if you read to the end of this I'm shocked cause I didn't realise this would end up being this long. I just had a lot of built up frustration from this.

Man, this place is toxic af. For a yaoi manga, this is alr on the less problematic end of the scale alr. Idk if yall are like fresh yaoi fans or what but like ive been in this yaoi life for 7-8 yrs alr and the large majority of yaois out there have some element of rape. Literally, the only pure and healthy yaoi that comes to mind is honto yajuu. And also, the poor dumb/naive tsundere girl/uke is a really common trope in kdrama so... like i guess im just desensitised to the problematic actions of the seme and uke? Dojin and hyesung both have their problems and theyre not fking real. So, my little 2 cents is this. By rule of thumb, only read yaoi when u have rose tinted yaoi goggles on and rmb that this is all FICTION. The mangaka isnt going to split the couple up. Thats pretty obvious. Also, if u read fargo's other manhwa, you'll realise that dojin was literally created for hyesung so... if u aint game for this ship then its time to say bye bye. Also, personally, i think fargo really likes hyesung? From their twitter, i get that vibe. So... lets all stop bitching over dojin and hyesuns faults, k? Me just wants to see some objective spoilers here. Not some "fanwar" over the seme and uke.

Could ya reccomend some yaoi that involve uke being injected an aphrodisiac w/ a needle? Thanks ^^
