well, i'm a closeted otaku so all of my friends don't share my interest. i tried dating normies but somehow it never worked. so my advice is to find someone who shares the same hobbies, it's easier and more fun tbh. i met my current bf in college and he's a gamer/ otaku and he loves how weird i am. he's the most open minded of my previous partners.......
