I love it soo much but is it on hiatus or something ?

I got a question. I barely managed to read the entire season 1 of this webtoon and I was somehow (desperately) expecting some kind of change like a level up of the mc or a universal female riot like the french revolution lol..... but nothing really changed. In season 2 Is there some kind of deep change that stirs up the foundation of the sexist society she lives in or is she just struggling (again) against men ?

I feel like the new maid is planning to climb up the social ladder by taking giselle's place. She is impredictable and she apparently has a lust for power and fun. I hope she will be the downfall of the husband either by creating a social scandal or by taking his money. I quite like her since she is has a cunning temper and is only toying with the husband, a woman who knows what she wants and gets what she wants.

Is the plot evolving towards something dark/ with actions related to yakuzas or is it only 100 % comedy all the time ? I would like to give it a try but endless running-gags are tiring at some point
