I've read like a 100 chapters of this in the past but I don't remember a thing. Should I pick it up again and binge? I remember I loved it but does the second half deliver?
The first half is def a lot different than the later half. It’s more action packed and convoluted since there more plot to the story bth. I think if you like the beginning part, and we’re really interested in the mystery of hari’s past, you should def binge it. There was a nice ending to wrap up the story, and didn’t drag on after the climax. As for moogil, if you’ve read dark haven and have been wondering if his past comes to bite him in the butt, it’s not very satisfying. They literally just brushed it off to conclude a happy ending in my opinion. But I’m not mad about that since it’s nice to have a good ending :)
Am I the only one who thought there was very little progress this season?
I can't seem to be able to get into it. I'm 20 chapters in. Is it going to take some drastic turn or will the pace remain the same?
It's a slow burn. If you don't like the pacing then it isn't for you. But I really enjoy it, it's refreshing and the slow build tension is so good. The season 1 finale is a really great payoff too
